Precision Machining Technology (PMT) Lab
The Precision Machine Technology (PMT) Program at Danville Community College is one of the most well equipped CNC training facilities in the United States and is considered to be one of the premier machining programs on the east coast. The program features multiple Haas CNC mills and lathes. The program just completed an expansion that doubled its capacity, and with the help of community and industry partners, it will again double the size of its state of the art program and facility. This most recent expansion will bring the total number of Haas CNC machines to 35, which includes 18 mills and 17 lathes in a newly renovated building that gives the program over 10,000 sq. ft. of training space. These investments in the PMT program ensure students gain the skills that industry demands.
